Shiva

Shiva

‘Sometimes new beginnings only become possible when you dare to let go.’

Shiva is now nine years old. In Hinduism, her name means ‘the destroyer of evil’. For us, however, her name soon took on a very personal meaning. We consciously chose a different path. No longer holding on to sadness, fear, or everything that drained our energy, but instead searching for love, freedom, peace, and new possibilities.

And that is exactly what Shiva brought into our lives. From the very beginning, she radiated energy. She is playful, alert, curious, and always ready for a new adventure. Every day seems like a new opportunity for her to discover something.
At the same time, Shiva is very clear about her boundaries. If she doesn’t want something, she lets you know without hesitation. A clear “no” is just as natural to her as an enthusiastic “yes”. In that, she continues to inspire me. She reminds me how important it is to stay true to yourself. To set your boundaries and to let go of what no longer serves you.

I see this on every walk we take together.
Almost every time, Shiva finds a stone that she proudly carries with her. Sometimes for quite a long distance. Until the stone becomes too heavy or the heat takes too much of her energy. Then I look at her and say, “You can let it go, Shiva.” The moment she drops the stone, she continues walking again, light, free, and relaxed.
Time and time again, she reminds me that we, too, sometimes carry things that were once important but have gradually become too heavy. Letting go does not mean something was never important. It simply means making space for new energy, new possibilities, and moving forward with trust.

Shiva loves working together. During coaching sessions, she happily walks alongside us, curious and eager to discover new things together with people. Not because she has a task to perform or because she has to do anything, but because she is completely free to be herself. And it is precisely because of that that the most beautiful moments often arise.
Every single day, she shows me that challenges are opportunities to grow. That sometimes you are capable of taking one step further than you first believed. And that after every setback, you can always begin again.

Every morning is a brand-new day for Shiva.
Full of energy.
Full of curiosity.
Full of possibilities.
Let’s go!
